Effects of different lactic acid bacteria groups and fibrolytic enzymes as additives on silage quality: A meta-analysis

چکیده
A database was developed from 97 articles and used to examine the effect of inoculant rate obligate homofermentative facultative heterofermentative lactic acid bacteria (OF-LAB) LAB (O-LAB) on silage quality using meta-analysis. This study also compared groups with or without fibrolytic enzyme legumes forages based-silage. Results regression equations showed that elevating levels OF-LAB linearly reduced pH increased (LA) during ensiling but had no aerobic stability. Conversely, O-LAB Compared control group, containing enzymes decreased by 12.15% LA neutral detergent fibre (NDF) 58.94% 12.23% respectively which is highest than other groups. In conclusion, although all types inoculants are effective improve quality, response plant materials varied.

Characteristics of isolated lactic acid bacteria and their effects on the silage quality
OBJECTIVE Four lactic acid bacteria (LAB) strains isolated from common vetch, tall fescue and perennial ryegrass on the Tibetan Plateau were characterized, and their effects on the fermentation quality of Italian ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum Lam.) silage were studied. METHODS The four isolated strains and one commercial inoculant (G, Lactobacillus plantarum MTD-1) were evaluated using the aci...
متن کاملA Review on Silage Additives and Enzymes
In order to understand how silage additives can help, one must first understand the ensiling process. Silage fermentation can be divided into 4 phases. The first phase is characterized by the presence of oxygen after forage is chopped and packed in the silo. Plant respiration continues for several hours (and perhaps days if silage is poorly packed) and plant enzymes (e.g., proteases) are active...
متن کاملThe effects of a microbial inoculant and formic acid as silage additives on chemical composition, ruminal degradability and nutrient digestibility of corn silage in sheep
The effects of a microbial inoculant (containing propionic and lactic acid bacteria) and formic acid onchemical composition, ruminal degradability of dry matter (DM) and nutrient digestibility of corn silage wereexamined. Whole-plant corn was ensiled for 60 days in plastic polyethylene bags, and three treatments werecompared, 1: control (no additive), 2: Propionibacterium acidipropionici plus L...
متن کاملEffect of Different Lactic Acid Bacteria on Phytic Acid Content and Quality of Whole Wheat Toast Bread
ABSTRACT: Nowadays, consumption of whole flours and flours with high extraction rate is recommended, because of their large amount of fiber, vitamins and minerals. Despite nutritional benefits of whole flours, concentration of some undesirable components such as phytic acid is higher than white flour. In this study, the effect of several sourdough lactic acid bacteria on toast bread was investi...
متن کاملEffects of maturity stage and lactic acid bacteria on the fermentation quality and aerobic stability of Siberian wildrye silage
It is difficult to make good quality of silage from alpine gramineous from the Qinghai Tibetan plateau. The effects of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) on the fermentation quality and aerobic stability of Siberian wildrye silage were studied in southeast of the Qinghai Tibetan plateau. Siberian wildrye materials were freshly cut at the sprouting stage, flowering stage, and milky stage. Silage was pre...
